Anyone with the link can access. The public link has no authentication. Anyone who has the URL can open it and chat. If you need to restrict access to specific users, use the API channel with authentication in your own interface.

Appearance is less customizable than the website widget. You can set agent name, color, and welcome message. Full branding customization (fonts, layout, CSS overrides) is available on the website widget embed, not on the public link.

No domain restriction. Unlike the website widget which can be whitelisted to specific domains, the public link is accessible from anywhere. There is no way to restrict who can open the URL.
