Create a Shopify Partners app
5 minGo to partners.shopify.com, log in, click Create App. Name it (e.g., "AnyDialog Agent"). In Admin API scopes, enable: read_products, read_orders, read_product_listings. Save and install.
Authorize AnyDialog
3 minIn your agent settings, go to Integrations, find Shopify. Enter your store domain (e.g., mystore.myshopify.com). Click Authorize. You will be redirected to Shopify to approve the connection.
Test product search
1 minClick the Test button in the Shopify section to verify AnyDialog can access your catalog. Then chat with your agent and ask about a product.

Shopify Partners account required. You need a Shopify Partners account (not just a regular Shopify account) to create the custom app that connects to AnyDialog.

Read-only catalog access. The agent can search and display products but cannot modify orders, inventory, or any store data. It is read-only by design for security.

Product images not shown in chat. The agent provides product names, prices, and direct links to product pages, but does not display product images inline in the chat.

Large catalog sync may take a few minutes. Stores with thousands of products may need a few minutes for the initial catalog sync. After that, product data is accessed in real time.
